The National Domestic and Family Violence Bench Book, published by the Australasian Institute of Judicial Administration, has been updated for 2024, offering judicial officers an enhanced resource for managing domestic and family violence cases.
This edition introduces 185 new resources, including:
- 82 new academic article summaries across 32 sections
- 29 additional resources such as fact sheets and government statements
- 74 case summaries from courts nationwide
The update also includes expanded content on coercive control, issues facing older people, and family law. This comprehensive resource, backed by research and practical guidelines, aims to support harmonised approaches across jurisdictions.
